Olberding Taylor Wedding

Saturday, May 22nd 2010

With Lauren being from North Carolina, she was looking for a traditional, brick church with a center aisle that reminded her of something you would see back home. A friend had told her about St. John's United Methodist Church. When she went to see it, she fell in love!

Mark and Lauren met through mutual friends during their first year of pharmacy school at the University of Kansas. The groom's favorite moment was watching his bride walk down then aisle with her dad (how beautiful and lucky he was).... but seriously, probably the reception entrance :)

The bride's favorite moment (and probably most people's) was the father daughter dance. They starting with a traditional dance, but ended up cutting into "Do the Hustle" by Van McCoy. Our best decision was picking the church we used. Best vendor is hard to pick, we loved them all!! The DJ definitely did an awesome job at the reception.

Mark was given only one job...to find the transportation. If we could go back, I would have gotten a nicer bus or trolley with better air conditioning. It was an extremely hot day! The dress I ended up with was the 4th dress I tried on. It was nothing like I had envisioned, but I loved it! We honeymooned at the Excellence Resorts, Playa de Mujeres, Mexico. Freeland Photography was amazing. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out great! Mike definitely captured the moments we will hold close to our hearts.
